A design proposal for the Courtauld Institute of Art aimed to draw in more visitors. Given the gallery’s renowned collection of Impressionist paintings, I took inspiration from the father of Impressionism himself, Claude Monet. Adopting the botanical elements in his garden in Giverny, France, I redesigned the Courtauld’s café patio which can be viewed down from street level.
