A temporary installation spatially linking Tate Britain and Chelsea College of Arts. This is a collaborative project between 1st Years where we scaled an architectural detail from Tate Britain and transformed it into a spatial structure. We adopted the traditional building techniques and materials used by the craftsmen of the ‘Nebuta Matsuri’ in Aomori, a traditional paper float festival in Japan.
